What a great idea. Thanks for doing this. Here are three verses that sustain me - all from one of my favorite books of the Bible, Philippians.
When I am troubled and start to worry, I think of this: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, and with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Phil.4:6-7 (NKJ)
When I dispair over world events: "...whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things." Phil 4:8 (NIV)
When I doubt my ability to do what I must: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phil 4:13 (NKJ)
It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God. (Amplified)
Be transformed by the renewal of your mind that you may know what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2
